Happy Dumb as a Monday!
Just a reminder, in case you missed it last week I am taking a break from the mid week DaaM comics for a while.
So come Thursday if you come here looking for something new... thats on you! I gave you 2 weeks notice that is more then I do for leaving a job.
Anyways now that all that is done with let me tall you a bit about Spider-man
So I have a thing wrong with me and it is that if they put out a video game with Spider-Man in it I have to buy it and play it.
So I of course bought The Amazing Spider-Man (The Video Game Inspired by the Major Motion Picture) So this is probably the first S.M. game that I did not finish.
It is not a horrible game it just has problems the biggest one being side missions. I cant walk a block in that game without having to do some repetitive side mission. There are about 4 missions you do. You stop a car chase, You stop a brawl, You do help some cops in a fire fight and you do some races. You have to do these about 3 times between each mission.
The fighting in the game is just a rip off of the Arkham Asylum/City fighting (punch punch punch dodge). Which isnt bad but... I like things to be there own thing not just copy.
The main missions are ok but the boss battles are all fairly generic and disappointing fights. 6 guys with guns is harder to take on then any of the bosses in the game.
Getting around the city is fun but almost just a little too easy. I remember the game Spiderman 2 (The Video Game Inspired by the Major Motion Picture) The web slinging took a little getting used to... which then when you get good at it you feel like "web slinging a little difficult but a pro like me... its nothing" Where as in this game you might as well just put Spidey in a car and drive him around it is so easy.
I would not recommend getting this game even if you like Spiderman

A reality tv show audience held captivated by entertainment… and enough C4 to blow up every and anything within 100 yards of this show if the jokers plan happens to backfire. ho ho ho hahahaHAHAHA
What am I referring to you ask? why the answer is simple Superboobs: A Super Hero Burlesque the new Gorilla Tango Burlesque - Provocative Parody For The Discerning Nerd show featuring a sleuth of your favorite Heros against The Joker and Harley Quinn as their latest scheme unfurls right before your very eyes.
The show is highly comedic as I have come to expect from the nerd based burlesque shows at the Gorilla Tango which plays especially well with the Joker and Harleys… unique relationship with each other and the heros.
The burlesque numbers showcase the Jokers plans to defeat each hero in a unique way based on whichever hero she is up against.
At the end of the show much like any reality television the Joker lets you vote for who you would like to win Good or Evil.
Superboobs is playing at the Gorilla Tango Theatre Saturdays at 10:30pm
